Reporting to the Managing Director will be strongly involved in the operational & administrational activities of the company , based in  Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Manage staff of 14 consisting of 1 merchandising manager and 7 merchandisers, 3 shipping personnel, 3 accounting/general office employees.
  • Evaluate current business processes and change where needed to ensure smooth handling of day to day operations.
  • Evaluate and monitor staff to ensure that each department is operating at maximum capability. Recruit and or train new staff members when necessary.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses and reduce costs whenever possible.
  • Settle any disputes that occur in the office between staff members.
  • Establish office policies guidelines and procedures and ensure that the staff follows them.
  • Ensure extra costs associated with customers, such as Product Inspections, cost of samples etc., are being captured and entered into the computer system
  • Assist Managing Director with the business planning.
  • Experience in accounting, HR and administration processes
  • 5 years’ experience in management
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent prioritization & organization skills
  • Computer literate
  • A university degree in management or business studies is preferred.
