Citi Realty Services APAC Business Operations Planning and Analysis Lead

Location: APAC-HKG-Hong Kong-Hong Kong

Job Summary:

Reporting to the CRS APAC Region Business Office cum Business Evaluation  Head through the management and oversight of activities in:

  • Financial Management 
  • Portfolio Strategic Planning and Implementation 
  • Re-engineering/Process Transformation 
  • Communication and Relationship Management 
  • Policy Management 
  • Other Initiatives and Projects (as directed) 
  • Work with CRS FP&A Finance Lead and his/her team through a governance framework process, with focus on optimum solutions to maximize efficiencies and value across Occupancy category products and services, which ultimately delivers Business and Shareholder benefit
  • Provide oversight over Country CRS analysts in supporting accounting and management  of legal and management book processes for all CRS related transactions
  • Act in an inter-face capacity between CRS Regional, CRS Global, CRS Functional teams, EO&T and other business stakeholders in the effective execution of the Corporate Real Estate strategy
  • Assist in the management of the daily operations of Business Office as directed by the CRS APAC Region Business Office cum Business Evaluation Head.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Liaise with CRS and FP&A Divisional, Country and Regional staff  and work in partnership with CRS FP&A Lead to: 
  • Develop the regional operating and capital budgets
  • Manage routine reporting and forecasting of the regional budgets
  • Manage the development, maintenance, reporting and review of all productivity and other Citiplan /project initiatives
  • Provide oversight over Country CRS Business Office and Operations analysts in supporting booking and management of CRS transactions to ensure accurate reflection of CRS financials in P&L and Balance Sheet; Review customer charge out allocation methodology drivers, Share joint ownership of Functional Transfer process with FP&A head.

Liaison with the CRS APAC SMT to:

  • Develop and manage footprint rationalization plans in all sub regions
  • Coordinate Strategic Planning & Analysis activities  in all sub regions

Re engineering/Process Transformation:

Work with the CRS APAC SMT to:

  • To assist APAC CRS Business Office head and the CRS Region Head on  the development and implementation of Citi Service Centers/  right placement strategies  in all sub Regions
  • To identify, encourage, initiate and monitor all re-engineering activities to improve efficiencies and/or reduce expense for CRS APAC
  • To manage and report on the Regions progress against the CRS Key Initiatives and other strategic/tactical and operational Goals 
  • Communication and Relationship Management
  • Assist CRS APAC Region Business Office cum Business Evaluation  Head  in
  • Managing  BAU relationships with, regional FP and A, regional controllers, regional accounting policy , regional O&T, regional E O&T and business partner units 
  • Implementing the CRS Global communication Strategy within APAC 

Policy Management:

Work with CRS APAC Region Business Office cum Business Evaluation  Head in assisting on:

  • Ownership of  key CRS APAC policies and their alignment to global policies
  • The management of policy development and implementation
  • Policy communication and dissemination

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience of working in diverse international environment
  • Strong experience in financial domain
  • Experience of process management
  • Experience of managing remote teams
  • Knowledge of real estate industry
  • Knowledge of Citigroup businesses and controls

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong leadership & people management skills
  • Strong planning, and communications skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer service quality principles
  • Good IT skills covering all Microsoft Office products and MS Project, spreadsheet /analytical/modeling skills

Qualifications:

  • Graduate
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written
  • Formal financial qualification
