Group Purchasing Manager

Location: Hong Kong

Responsibilities

  • To set up, review and improve the purchasing policies and procedures and ensure the proper implementation
  • To ensure full compliance of the company’s policy in sourcing, tendering and supplier evaluation
  • To maintain high standard of quality and cost effectiveness of products or services
  • To keep abreast of market trends and explore opportunities for direct purchase and tenders for bulk purchases
  • Motivate, supervise and evaluate all purchasing activities of subordinates

Requirements

  • Degree or above in Purchasing or Hotel Management is preferred
  • 6 - 8 years of hotel purchasing experience with minimum 3 years' in managerial level
  • Independent, creative, initiative and responsible person
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • Good in writing, documentation and analytical skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing and hotel procurement system
