Jack & Jill Treehouse are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, interactive and motivated Native English-speaking Teachers who are committed to working in a dynamic environment based in Hong Kong.

Jack & Jill Treehouse is a fast-expanding registered language learning centre with over 15 years of experience in Hong Kong and 8 years in Shanghai. We are renowned for offering creative and activity language courses to children and bespoke one-to-one classes from kindergarten to secondary school. We provide authentic English learning atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of students. 

Located in Midlevels, TaiKoo, Fortress Hill and Kornhill (YMCA), our young learners are mainly from the international school system and from top local schools. 

We provide a diverse range of English language lessons, from playgroup to liberal studies. Our philosophy is to use an interactive, flexible approach to teach our students through creative and active learning. Our small classes aim to provide a comfortable and inspirational setting for language learning. Young Writer, our most popular course, encourages children to write unique and imaginative stories through vivid descriptions and vocabulary.

We are a dynamic team of young, energetic and professional teachers who support one another in all aspects, from lesson planning to curriculum development. 
 

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Delivers languages sessions to meet our young learner’s needs, encourage independent thinking and inspire learning motivation.
  • Establishes learning objectives consistent with appraisal of student needs, curriculum demands, and language development.
  • Administers and scores assessments; maintains student data records including grade books.
  • Drafts differentiated English proficiency level lesson plans, assignments and teaching materials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Instructional Supervisor.
Desired Qualifications: 
  • Native English speaker.
  • Undergraduate degree or the equivalent.
  • Passionate about working with children and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience preferred but not essential.
  • Fresh graduate will also be considered.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
