About the Company

ALTIA CENTRAL’s slogan is a simple one - “Today's Impression - Tomorrow's Dream”. This has been translated from the Japanese phrase "Kandou-no-hajimari", a phrase, which seeks to create a feeling that, through a positive impression of English today, people can achieve, through English, their dreams of tomorrow.

But ALTIA CENTRAL is not in business just to teach English. We are involved with the development of children at all levels. This is a responsibility we do not take lightly. Our aim is to provide the highest quality Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) for the public school system in Japan, ALT support services, working conditions and support network, as this in turn provides the best positive experience for the students, the customers and of course the ALTs themselves!

By dealing with customers, students and employees honestly and showing respect and trust, we will positively effect the development of the students and meet or exceed out quality and growth goals.

Today we have over 250 ALTs teaching in public elementary schools in 9 prefectures and take part in the development of thousands of children everyday. ALTs with ALTIA CENTRAL have the chance to be more than a teacher. They have the opportunity to become members of a community whether they are placed in a rural or urban environment.
