Currently, I am working for a renowned rail fastening systems supplier named Pandrol UK Ltd. (www.pandrol.com) as the Supplier Development Manager stationed in Hong Kong.  Pandrol is the world leader in railway fastening systems industry which designs and supplies rail fastening systems to railways worldwide with over 50% market shares.  I am responsible for the supplier chain management of the Asian (China, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Taiwan and Korea) sourcing operations, including vendor selection and commercial terms negotiation, product development, pre-production sample development, establishing quality documentation before bulk production, order management, supply demand planning and logistics. I also responsible for reducing lead times, achieving cost savings and optimising the effectiveness of communications between international offices and Asian suppliers.

For experience in construction industry, my responsibilities varied as per progress of the Chek Lap Kok Airport and West Rail projects.  Starting from compilation of specifications (for detailed design and construction contracts), tender requirements, and conducting tender evaluations.  After award of contracts, contract administration including submission review, monitoring implementation of approved quality plans and inspection & test plans, conducting on-site quality control and auditing design consultants and contractors throughout design, construction and T&C stages.  In Testing and Commissioning stage, interfacing and coordinating with statutory and government bodies to conduct joint inspection and compilation of all related documentation for statutory submissions and provisions of operations of the railway.
