Managing all membership, human resources, venue-related and financial aspects for the workshop:
l Program organization
> Discuss and decide program dates with facilitators
> Collect program information from facilitators Membership:
> Keep membership database updated
> Human resources:
> Ensure we have a translator at each workshop
> Recruit volunteer technicians, musicians and others to help with events
> Recruit future facilitators, communication director and translator as required.
l Venue/logistical
> Securing a venue for workshops and managing relationship with that venue
> Securing a backup venue in case of problems + others if needed for performances
> Find/make maps to venues
l Financial
> Collect membership fees on a monthly basis
> Pay venue on a monthly basis
> Pay facilitators on a monthly basis
> Manage the workshop budget
l Events:
> Find partner organizations for events as required
> Assist Communications Director in organizing events
> Help find and purchase accessories/decors for performances
> Assist Communications Director the night of the event
